Tilta Launches Modular Boulder Camera Cart

Tilta has launched the Boulder Camera Cart, a rugged, portable workstation designed for professional filmmakers, technicians, and independent creators.

The Boulder Camera Cart features a tool-free, quick-release system that allows for fast assembly and disassembly, making it suitable for location shoots and mobile setups. When not in use, the cart’s top and bottom trays combine into a hard-shell case that secures all components inside. An integrated handle and built-in wheels also allow the unit to be rolled for easy transport and storage, including making it easy to load into smaller vehicles.

Constructed from durable aluminum, the Boulder provides multiple mounting options with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads and locating points. This enables users to configure the cart with a wide range of optional accessories, including monitor arms, tool racks, or other support gear.

Available in both a flexible base model and a fully featured Indie Kit, the Boulder is designed to serve as anything from a focus-pulling station to a mobile workshop or outdoor production hub. There is an impressively large amount of accessories and options to choose from already too.

The base model includes:

• Four wheels (two fixed, two rotating casters) for mobility

• Two handles for control and transport

• Compatibility with a wide range of accessories to expand the cart into a camera workstation, focus pulling station, DIT hub, or mobile workshop

The Indie Kit adds:

• Two support posts and a monitor mounting bracket with a quick-release plate compatible with most standard monitors

• A NATO/Manfrotto-style sliding receiver for precise monitor positioning

• A monitor mount with tilt, pan, and 90° rotation for horizontal or vertical viewing

• A collapsible side table with IGT standard mount, allowing extra workspace or swap-in inserts

• A 50mm (≈1.97-inch) Speed Rail for mounting accessories such as a Baby Pin, tripod storage, or Steadicam dock

The Tilta Boulder is available now. Prices start at $1199 for the base spec, and climb to $1499 for the Indie Kit version.
