Sigma has announced release timing for three new lenses spanning its Contemporary, Art, and Cine ranges, with launches scheduled between mid-March and mid-April 2026, and including the long-awaited Sigma AF Cine Line 28-105mm T3 FF.

The trio of new lenses announced by Sigma just before CP+ 2026 covers APS-C hybrid shooters, full-frame stills photographers, and — drumroll please — filmmakers looking for autofocus glass with the confirmed launch date of the Sigma AF Cine 28-105mm T3 FF.

We'll start there. The lens was announced in June last year and, being the second in the series following the Sigma AF Cine 28-45mm T2 FF, marks the start of a whole new line for the company. The AF Cine series combines cine-style gearing, mechanics, and housing with autofocus capability, continuing Sigma’s push to bridge the gap between stills optics and cinema workflows.

The design draws on the company’s Art-series optical formula, specifically in this case the well-regarded Sigma 28-105mm F2.8 DG DN | Art, but adds cinema-oriented ergonomics and consistency across the focus range. Mounts are Sony E and L-Mount.

Length is 159.9 mm (6.3 in) for the E-mount, and 157.9 mm (6.3 in) for L-Mount. Weight for both is 1.3 kg (2.8 lb).

Release is scheduled for April 16, 2026, with pricing confirmed as $3399.

Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG II | Art

Sigma has two new lenses on the pre-CP+ 2026 slate as well.

Sigma’s latest 35mm Art lens continues one of the company’s more influential modern lens lines, and arrives five years after the original Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art. The DG II version introduces a revised optical design with 15 elements in 12 groups and an 11-blade diaphragm.

The lens focuses as close as 28 cm (11.1 in), uses a 67 mm filter thread, and weighs roughly 530 g (18.7 oz), making it about 20% lighter than earlier versions while maintaining the fast F1.4 aperture. It's shorter too, coming in at only 94 mm (3.7 in). High-speed AF is driven by Dual HLA.

Mounts are Sony E and L-Mount, and the release date is also April 16. E-Mount and L-Mount versions will be available for $1059.

Sigma 15mm F1.4 DC | Contemporary

The Sigma 15mm F1.4 DC | Contemporary is the successor to the Sigma 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, refining its already popular optical performance while achieving what the company refers to as "remarkable compactness" and a lighter weight design.

Putting some numbers on that it comes in at a max diameter and length of φ64.0 mm x 64.8 mm (φ2.5 in x  2.6 in) and a weight of 220 g (7.8 oz). Those figures are for the E-Mount version and it will also be available in X-Mount and RF-Mount

It uses a 13-element optical design including FLD, SLD, and aspherical elements aimed at controlling aberrations while keeping the lens compact. Minimum focus is 17.7 cm (7 in), and the lens uses a 58 mm filter thread.

The release date for the Sigma 15mm F1.4 DC | Contemporary is March 12, 2026, with pricing set at $579.
