SonyHDR leads to some dramatic differences, and not just in plumage

With shooting for HDR in mind, one of the hottest production topics around, Sony’s upcoming webinar seeks to demystify the topic.

On 7th March, 14.00 GMT/15.00 CET, Peter Sykes from Sony will be joined live from Pinewood by Colour Grading Specialist Pablo Garcia and Cinematographer Enrique Pacheco to discuss a range of topics surrounding High Dynamic Range: what it is and how to get the most out of it.

The webinar will seek to demystify some of the clutter currently surrounding HDR formats, examining its founding technical principles, emerging standards, and looking at how it can enhance content ranging from movies (such as Ang Lee’s recent ‘Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk’) to TV drama to commercials.

It will look at the kit you need to be using to maximise the benefits of HDR now, and the future of the format as more productions in all fields start to rollout HDR compatibility.
