FiLMiC has launched a new in-depth tutorial series aimed at mobile filmmakers to help them get the most from the FiLMiC Pro app.

FiLMiC has had a few announcements and updates recently, including Remote being released for Android, its excellent photography app Firstlight getting a big upgrade, clean HDMI out from their mobile filmmaking app, FiLMiC Pro, and much more. And now the company has released a video tutorial series to show the in's and out's of mobile filmmaking.

With a great iOS or Android mobile device, the famed FiLMiC Pro app gives full manual control of the device’s camera, plus plenty of killer features to professionally shoot a video or film. But with everything, practice makes perfect, and having a teacher to show you how to do it makes all the difference in the world.

The new video series is hosted by filmmaker Cassium Raymer, who dives into the app to teach budding mobile filmmakers how to properly use the FiLMiC Pro app, and shooting techniques.

The first episode focuses on manual focus, while the second episode is all about exposure. More episodes are coming to teach new mobile filmmakers how to perfect this unique way of filming.

Cassium walks you through both topics, helping mobile filmmakers to really understand working with the FiLMiC Pro app on their mobile device. Make sure you subscribe to FiLMiC’s YouTube channel and hit alerts so you know when new videos in the tutorial series are released.

FiLMiC Pro is available now for only $14.99 USD, plus there are in-app purchases to unlock more features like LOGV2 with 12 stops of dynamic range and more. Its Double Take Multicam app is free, while Remote is $9.99 USD. Learn more on its website.
