DJI's RS 4 Pro Combo (2026 Edition) pairs its flagship gimbal with the SDR Transmission system, combining stabilization, wireless monitoring, and remote control in a single rig. And it saves around 33% over individual unit prices.

DJI has taken a break from its hectic product release schedule to announce a new bundle. The RS 4 Pro Combo (2026 Edition) is a new kit that pairs its flagship Ronin stabilizer with the DJI SDR Transmission system for integrated wireless monitoring and remote control.

An all-in-one rig

It's a neat pairing. The SDR transmitter mounts directly to the RS 4 Pro and draws power from the stabilizer, removing the need for a separate battery. That single-cable integration does a lot of heavy lifting on set too, pulling together stabilization, transmission, monitoring, focus tracking, and remote control into one rig.

On set, directors and camera operators can monitor footage via a connected terminal and use Force Mobile, a virtual joystick, or stabilizer recentering functions to perform camera moves remotely.

The RS 4 Pro itself is two years old now, but still at the top of its game. It supports a 4.5 kg (9.9 lb) payload via carbon fiber arms, covering most mirrorless and cinema camera builds. DJI's fourth-generation stabilization algorithm handles horizontal and vertical shooting modes, and a dedicated vehicle mode uses vibration and wind resistance data to maintain stability during high-speed shots.

The SDR Transmission system, meanwhile, delivers 1080p60 feeds at up to 20 Mbps with latency as low as 35 milliseconds, over a range of up to 3 km (1.8 miles). It transmits three SDR signals and two WiFi signals simultaneously, and in broadcast mode supports unlimited receivers. Monitors connect via SDI or HDMI; smartphones and tablets via USB-C or WiFi. When interference is detected, the system automatically hops between 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and DFS frequency bands. Each transmitter or receiver weighs 145 g (5.1 oz), with fold-down antennas for transport.

Pricing and availability

Nice to report for once that this is available in the US, but then there are no new products involved. The DJI RS 4 Pro Combo (2026 Edition) is available now from DJI's online store priced at $1338, though saying that we are seeing an 'out of stock alert' currently. UK and European pricing is £1169 / €1209 respectively.

Either way, the combo represents a significant saving on the individual units of around 33%. Of course, DJI's latest model in this space is the RS 5, which was released in January. No official word yet on an RS 5 Pro, but given the company's release cadence you could reasonably expect it to land this year. Caveat emptor as always, but that said this is still a decent combination at good value.
