Belkin’s ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter enables plug-and-play 1080p screen sharing with no apps or WiFi.
The Belkin ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter is designed to make wireless screen sharing straightforward and reliable without apps, drivers, or a Wi-Fi network. It's simple too: a USB-C transmitter pairs directly with an HDMI receiver, creating a dedicated wireless link that avoids network congestion and setup complexity.
It supports Full HD 1080p video at 60 Hz with latency under 80 milliseconds, making it suitable for any real-time collaboration where responsiveness is important. With a wireless range of up to 40 meters (131 feet), Belkin says it can be used comfortably across meeting rooms, classrooms, and shared workspaces without signal dropouts. That's all very AV-oriented, but we can think of several more decent uses in the post field, such as grading, where this sort of KVM flexibility would be very useful.

It's a shame it tops out at 1080p, so maybe editing rather than grading. But at least it works on the 5 GHz band so hopefully the signal will not be too fragile when it comes to walls.
Many to One
Interestingly, the system is also scalable. A single receiver can support up to eight transmitters, enabling quick switching between multiple sources without reconnecting hardware.
The transmitter measures 2.6 × 1.1 × 0.4 inches (66 × 28 × 10 mm) and weighs 0.6 oz (17 g). The receiver measures 3.1 × 1.2 × 0.5 inches (79 × 30 × 13 mm) and weighs 0.8 oz (23 g). Belkin lists confirmed compatibility as:
- USB-C laptops with DisplayPort Alt Mode (Windows/macOS/ChromeOS)
- USB-C tablets including iPad Pro and iPad Air (M1/M2)
- USB-C smartphones with video output support (e.g., Samsung DeX-enabled devices)
Pricing and Availability
The Belkin ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter is going to be available in the first quarter of this year for $149.
