Wooden Camera Adds Sony FX2 Modular Cage Systems

Wooden Camera has expanded its accessory lineup for the Sony FX2, introducing a modular cage system designed to add protection, mounting flexibility, and workflow versatility.

Wooden Camera's new cage system for the Sony FX2 has been designed to give you plenty of mounting and accessory options without compromising size. It’s designed for pretty much everything, from handheld and gimbals to full studio builds.

Modular Design

A modular design results in half-to-full cage design which scales to your needs with industry-standard mounting points.

Cage L-Bracket

Half cage design gives you a solid foundation for adding accessories. With mounting points to add a Top Plate or Cage Grip, you can customize this cage to the needs of
your shoot. Features include a cutout for the HDMI cable and a clamp for added security. It also supports the full range of motion of the FX2 pivoting EVF.

Top Plate

• Adds 4x 1/4”-20 and 1x 3/8”-16 mounting points
• Forward-facing 1/4”-20 mounting points for
  accessories like Bolt-On Rods
• Securely attaches to the top of the camera
• Can be used as a standalone accessory

Cage Grip

This adds 2x 1/4”-20 and 1x 3/8”-16 mounting points to the side of the camera. It securely connects to the Cage for FX2 as well as the body of the camera, and is designed with cut-out for access to the Battery Port.

20mm ARCA Riser

The ARCA Riser can be mounted perpendicular to the bottom of the cage for traditional cinema builds or parallel to the cage for photography setups.
