Tilta's new thermoelectric Universal Cooling System cools camera bodies to 0°C in Ice-Cool mode. It ships now in three configurations from $15 to $49.

The new Tilta Universal Cooling System is an accessory designed to let creators shoot longer without overheating limitations and, as the name suggests, isn’t tied to a specific make or model of camera.

The system pairs a thermoelectric plate with aluminum alloy heatsink fins, a near-silent fan, and high thermal conductivity silicone to pull heat away from the camera. On Level 2 cooling, the contact surface can reach as low as 0°C (32°F), keeping the camera performing during extended, high-resolution recording sessions.

A latch-based quick-mount design allows the system to be attached or removed with a single press, letting users switch between camera setups without tools.

Level 1 (Quiet Mode) runs at approximately 5°C (41 °F), with fan noise as low as 30 dB, suited to on-set audio recording, at least via external mics. Level 2 (Ice-Cool Mode) delivers maximum cooling down to 0°C (32°F). Auto Mode adjusts cooling intensity automatically to maintain a stable range of 20°C ± 3°C (68°F ± 5.5°F), reducing the need for manual adjustment. A built-in TFT color display shows real-time temperature and operating mode.

Power options include the Power Supply for Universal Cooling System, which attaches magnetically for a cable-free setup, or a wired connection via USB-C to a PD power source or V-Mount battery for extended runtime.

Compatibility is extensive and covers a range of camera models across Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, and Panasonic. This includes, but is not limited to, the Sony ZV series, A7 series, FX3, and FX30; Canon R and PowerShot series; Nikon Z30, Zfc, and Zf; Fujifilm X-H2, X-H2S, X-S10, X-S20, and X-T4; and Panasonic Lumix GH and G series cameras.

The Power Supply for Universal Cooling System is also available separately and is included in the Power Kit alongside a Universal Cooling System.
