The 10K in the name of the new Bolt 6 XT 10K RX from Teradek alludes to feet, meaning that its newest wireless video receiver has an impressive range of up to 10,000 feet, or 3 kilometers.
The new Teredek Bolt 6 XT 10K RX extends the range of the company's Bolt 4K and Bolt 6 transmitters to an impressive 10,000 feet or 3000 metres. It promises zero delay even at that range over 5 or 6 GHz frequencies, and delivers visually lossless 4Kp60 4:2:2 video via two 12G‑SDI outputs.
An enhanced directional antenna promises superior RF performance, minimizing interference with robust internal shielding. Usefuly, an all‑in‑one enclosure eliminates the need for external antenna cables, resulting in a cleaner setup and faster deployment from case to C‑stand.
Teradek says that setup is further enhanced by using the dedicated Bolt App, which simplifies device pairing, allows fine-tuned frequency adjustments, and includes a built-in spectrum analyzer for advanced RF diagnostics.
The Bolt 6 XT 10K RX comes in two versions, V-Mount or Gold-Mount. The Gold Mount version is compatible with both 14V and 26V batteries.
Pricing and Availability
The Bolt 6 XT 10K RX ships in September and is priced at $9990. The full package also includes a 10K Yoke Mount (sold as 11-0825), a 2pin Locking Connector to AC Power, and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
