Reviewed: Aputure LS C120d II, a light you really should consider

RedShark NewsThe Aputure LS C120d II was one of the hits at NAB 2019

The Aputure LS C120d II was one of the hits of NAB and, as Bas Goossens says in his video review, it only gets better on closer examination.

The LS C120d II was one of the best things that many people saw at NAB, lighting or otherwise. It is a well-engineered and well-thought out piece of kit that ticks all the boxes and is a considerable upgrade on an already great light, especially at an aggressive pricepoint below $800.

As our own Bas Goossens says, when Aputure first hit the market its products weren’t always quite up to the level that professional filmmakers demand. No such worries nowadays and, if you ever wanted a sign of a company starting to really hit its straps and deliver top-end products at an agreeably low-end a low-price, then the Aputure LS C120d II is probably it.
