Sigma led off the IBC 2016 Cine lens cavalcade of products with their Cine High Speed Zoom Line. FF Cine Zoom Line as well as FF Cine High Speed prime line.

Today Sigma announced that the Cine High Speed Zoom 18-35mm T2 and 50-100mm T2 will commence shipment on December 9, 2016 at retails prices of $3999 each.

These lenses are compatible with Super35/APS-C sensors and offer a constant T2 aperture throughout the zoom range. They offer optical performance capable of today’s 6K-8K acquisition while still being compact.

Both lenses will be available in E, EF and PL camera mounts.

No release or pricing has been specified for the Cine FF 24-35mm T2.2 lens or the High Speed Prime line.

We plan on taking a close look at this entire Cine series of lenses at PhotoPlus 2016 in New York.
