Insta360 previews the Leica co-engineered Luna Series at NAB 2026, finally making it official, while it will also be showing the new Mic Pro wireless microphone and some interesting new versions of existing kit.

Insta360 is using NAB Show 2026 to preview its forthcoming Luna Series, a new product line co-engineered with Leica, alongside several other upcoming products and a recently released retro-oriented bundle.

Luna Series

Given the recent launch of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, and the rumors swirling about the upcoming 4P, there was always going to be plenty of attention on Insta360's forthcoming Luna camera gimbal at NAB.

Dual lenses have long been part of the suggested story, and now we know we have official confirmation that the Luna Series comprises two models: the Luna Pro, a single-lens design, and the Luna Ultra, which adds a dual-lens configuration with enhanced telephoto capability. Both have been co-engineered with Leica.

Insta360 says both cameras feature a 1-inch sensor, F1.8 aperture, variable focal length, and 10-bit color. Both will be available in two color options. No pricing or release dates have been given, but we do have the first footage from the Luna Ultra and a very impressive 14 short seconds it is.

Insta360 Mic Pro

The company is also previewing the Insta360 Mic Pro, a wireless microphone with a customizable E-Ink display that can show logos, names, or other visual elements. It connects directly to Insta360 cameras via Insta360 Direct Connect, removing the need for a separate receiver. Audio capture is handled by a three-microphone array with AI-powered processing and NPU-based noise reduction, and the unit supports internal recording as a backup.

We'll have more on this tomorrow.

Flow 2 and Flow 2 Pro update

Elsewhere, a forthcoming software update for the Flow 2 and Flow 2 Pro gimbals adds native multi-lens support for flagship Android devices, including the Samsung S26 Ultra. It also adds faster 360 panorama capture, Dual View Mode, and Apple Watch control for iPhone users.

GO Ultra Tadej Pogačar Edition Bundle

Released April 15, the GO Ultra Tadej Pogačar Edition is a co-branded version of Insta360's compact GO Ultra action camera, developed in collaboration with the reigning Tour de France champion and, to our mind (and we watch a lot of cycling), probably the best pro cyclist since Eddy Merckx. We can't promise it will help you climb Mount Ventoux any quicker, but it might look good whizzing around the local roads.

GO 3S Retro Bundle

GO 3S Retro BundleAnd the company signs off on NAB 2026 with the GO 3S Retro Bundle. This leans heavily into the retro vogue and pairs the existing GO 3S with a Retro Viewfinder, stylized filters, and tactile accessories intended to evoke the look of classic film cameras. Funky.
