Three weeks after Blackmagic Camera App 3.2 for iOS debuted, the Android version is here with the launch of Blackmagic Camera App 3.2 for Android.

Blackmagic Camera App 3.2 for iOS debuted some interesting new features for the popular free app as Blackmagic looked to position it as much as a live streaming tool as anything.

Little surprise then that Blackmagic Camera App 3.2 for Android features a fistful of the same technology advances. It's been a long, hard road for the Android dev team to catch up with the iOS app, so being just three weeks off the pace is an impressive achievement. Android users are still waiting for some features such as Frame.io Camera to Cloud integration, however.

What’s New in Blackmagic Camera for Android 3.2

  • Support for custom live streaming targets.
  • Support for streaming to third party platforms using SRT.
  • Support for H.265 on supported Live Stream services.
  • Addressed bad calibration on Zebra and False Color.
  • General performance and stability improvements.
