Angelbird releases new AV PRO microSD V30 cards

1 minute read

With capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, the new microSD V30 is billed as offering stable recording for drones, 360 cameras, and action cams.

Angelbird’s new AV PRO microSD V30 cards have been specifically engineered for use with drones, 360°, and POV action cameras, and have been built to capture resolutions up to 6K with a write speed of 80 MB/s uninterrupted throughout the entire capacity of the card. This sustained performance should eliminate the potential for dropped frames or production errors commonly experienced with video production.

The company says that the cards have been built and tested for drone and action camera performance in harsh environmental conditions. Card data is protected from moisture, x-ray, magnets, shock, dust, and are good for use in extreme operating temperatures of -25° C to 85° C and storage temperatures of -40° C to 85° C. They are also qualified for use with the usual suspects of popular drone and POV cameras from GoPro, Insta360 to DJI.
