ZIPR is an electric-powered cart designed to take the strain during long days of heavy loads and ease the pressures of production.
ZILR has taken its expertise in power and connectivity and basically put wheels on it. The new ZIPR e-Powered K.I.T. Cart is a versatile production cart that can carry up to 300 kg / 661 lbs, whether that be kit in its cargo volume or passengers on two seats, be driven or towed, and even has a 4WD version for off-road on-set versatility.

Keeping Productions Moving
ZILR highlights various uses on-set, from camera ops transporting rigs across a studio lot, to AV techs shuttling equipment between stages, to lighting and grip teams moving cases through rough terrain, as well as being able to use it for track-free dolly shots.
It comes in two versions. The ZIPR 2WD weighs 28 kg / 61.7 lbs without battery, can carry 250 kg / 551 lbs, and has a 183 L / 6.5 cubic feet cargo capacity. It has a 30 km / 18.6 mile range, its 1500W motor can handle gradients up to 21%, and it will recharge in approximately 3 hours.
The ZIPR 4WD weighs more at 32 kg / 70.5 lbs without battery, can carry 300 kg / 661 lbs lbs, has a 15 km / 9.3 miles (4WD), 20 km / 12.4 miles (2WD) range, its 3000W motor can handle gradients up to 30%, and it will recharge in approximately 3 hours. All else is the same.
Both models has a top speed of 16 kph / 10 mph. Size in use is 116 × 63 × 50 cm / 45.7″ × 24.8″ × 19.7″, while it also folds neatly for storage into a compact 48 × 29 × 80 cm / 18.9″ × 11.4″ × 31.5″.
Pricing and Availability
The ZIPR 2WD costs $1499, the ZIPR 4WD costs $1999. Pre-orders are open now from the usual suspects in the reseller network with delivery expected in January 2026. Available accessories include a second seat, rain jacket, spare batteries, and more. Pre-orders before december 31 will snag extra accessories.
