Teradek TV introduces realtime viewing for production and post

Teradek has officially launched Teradek TV, a cutting-edge live-feed and instant-recordings review platform designed for production needs. 

Teradek TV allows production teams, projects, or entire studios to transfer their video village or post suite into the cloud for collaborative work. It offers a scalable solution with permission-based visibility across studio-level production slates in real-time. It includes live feeds, downloadable instant proxies for dailies, editorial, VFX, cross-platform color management, and metadata support. The platform uses what the company says is military-grade encryption to ensure content security, complete with user-specific watermarking on every frame. 

Colin McDonald, Cine Product Manager at Creative Solutions, highlights Teradek TV's impact on production monitoring, stating, "It empowers creatives and team members to maintain continuous visibility across all phases of production."

It offers native viewing apps for popular platforms including iOS, Android, Apple TV, Mac, and Windows.

Basic pricing goes up to 8bit, 1080p, with a max bit rate of 5 Mbps, and is $49 per user per month. Pro pricing goes up to 10bit, 2160p, with a max bit rate of 10 Mbps, and is $99 per user per month. Daily-only viewers are an extra $5 and $8, respectively. There's also custom enterprise-level pricing and features available, as well as a 7-day free trial for those looking to investigate further.
