Six new focal lengths join SIRUI's VP-1 and IronStar families, from a 15mm wide-angle to a 135mm anamorphic prime, all due in H2 2026.

SIRUI has expanded both its Vision Prime 1 and IronStar lineups with six new focal lengths.

Three new Vision Primes

The Vision Prime 1 (VP-1) series launched in early 2025 with 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm T1.4 primes. Three new focal lengths now extend that range: a 15mm wide-angle (T1.6), a 75mm medium telephoto (T1.4), and a 150mm macro (T4) with 1.5x magnification.

The 150mm's slower aperture is offset by its macro capability, which still allows shallow depth of field when working close-up. All three retain the series' user-interchangeable mount system, shipping with Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and Leica L mounts in the box. Four screws release the rear mount module, which can be swapped in around 30 seconds, making the system practical for rental houses and owner-operators working across multiple camera platforms.

Three new IronStars

The IronStar anamorphic lineup operates with a constant 1.5x squeeze ratio across all focal lengths. The original set covered 35mm, 45mm, and 60mm. The three new additions, which first broke ground at CP+, are 75mm, 100mm, and 135mm and close out the upper range. The 75mm is T1.9, while the 100mm and 135mm are both T2.8.

The 100mm is aimed at macro and product cinematography, where the combination of close-focus capability and anamorphic rendering is particularly useful for commercial work. The 75mm suits dialogue scenes and portrait work, while the 135mm is designed for tight isolation shots in narrative production. The new lenses will offer the same blue and neutral flare options as before.

Pricing and availability

All six new focal lengths are expected to ship in the second half of 2026. By way of a guide, the existing VP-1 lenses are priced at $649 each, while the IronStars come in at $999.
