SANDMARC Introduces New Hybrid Mount

SANDMARC's new Hybrid Mount promises to be the Swiss Army Knife of mounting devices, holding your phone when you're shooting, your SSD when you're backing up, and your power bank when you're running low.

Versatility is the main thing that SANDMARC's  Hybrid Mount’s design revolves around. Built for multi-gear use, it easily attaches to grips, tripods, or rigs. The integrated clamp is ideal for securely holding an iPhone or SSD, making it a go-to tool for creators who need flexibility in each shoot. It also works with MagSafe gear, clamps down when you need security, and all in all mounts to whatever rig the shoot demands.

SANDMARC says the magnetic alignment system ensures the device snaps into place with a precise connection, supporting MagSafe-enabled SSD drives and power banks. As an aside though, it's worth pointing out that the MagSafe mounting is only compatible with Max and Plus iPhones. For smaller iPhones, or indeed when using SANDMARC lenses/filters, you're going to have to use the adjustable clamp.

A built-in cold shoe expands your setup, while three ¼” mounting points make it easy to add a microphone, light, or external monitor for more advanced shooting capabilities.

The Hybrid Mount costs $99 and will be available at the end of August.
