OBSBOT has launched the Tiny 3 and Tiny 3 Lite, two new AI-powered 4K PTZ webcams that place a particular emphasis on integrated audio alongside upgraded imaging and tracking features.
It is 18 months since OBSBOT released the Tiny 2 PTZ webcams. We liked the Tiny 2 Lite when we reviewed it back then and, on paper at least, the just announced Tiny 3 generation cameras look to be taking another significant stride forward.
Beefed Up Audio
This seems to be especially true of audio. Both webcams feature a triple silicon MEMS microphone array, combining one omnidirectional and two directional microphones. OBSBOT claims the system delivers up to 130 dB SPL handling, a 69 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and a 50 Hz–20 kHz frequency response. Five selectable audio modes are included, ranging from unprocessed “Pure Audio” recording through to directional and dual-directional profiles aimed at interviews, meetings, and podcasts.

One interesting feature is Voice Locator. Using spatial audio positioning, the webcam detects the direction of speech, smoothly rotates the gimbal until you're in the frame, and initiates tracking automatically. Combined with voice commands such as “Hi Tiny,” users can start recording or meetings from anywhere in the room. The series also supports the new OBSBOT Vox SE wireless lavalier for cable-free professional audio.
Tiny 3
The Tiny 3 is positioned as the flagship model, built around a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor with support for 4K/30p and 1080/120p capture. OBSBOT also highlights DCG HDR support, ISO 100–12,800 sensitivity, and Dual All-Pixel PDAF autofocus. The company says this is the smallest 4K PTZ webcam design in the world. The camera body weighs 63 g (2.2 oz) and measures 37 × 37 × 49 mm (1.46 × 1.46 × 1.93 in).
Tiny 3 Lite
The Tiny 3 Lite is, ironically, slightly larger at 41 × 41 × 58 mm (1.61 × 1.61 × 2.28 in) and weighs 73 g (2.6 oz). It uses a 1/2-inch stacked CMOS sensor, with ISO 100–6,400 and the same 4K/30p and 1080/120p recording options.
AI Tracking 2.0 & Software Upgrades
Both models include OBSBOT’s AI Tracking 2.0, with support for tracking individuals, groups, hands, and objects, along with features such as Auto Zoom, Face Framing, and voice-based tracking. Tiny 3 also adds dedicated Desk and Whiteboard modes. Gesture and voice controls are included for hands-free operation.
Through OBSBOT Center and Obsbot live, users unlock some powerful creative controls, including exposure and gamma curve adjustment, manual white balance tuning, NVIDIA Maxine Eye Contact, background blur and replacement, overlays, Elgato Stream Deck compatibility, and more.

There are some useful new features in this area. RTC Remote Interaction enables real-time, bidirectional audio and video at 720p with sub-200ms latency, allowing remote participants to control PTZ, zoom, and AI tracking directly via browser. Virtual Camera features, powered by the OBSBOT Toolkit, meanwhile, turn Tiny 3 into what is billed as "a motion-capture-free virtual camera system" with AI Tracking, pre-built avatars and scenes, and one-click switching between virtual avatars, voice tones, and environments.
Pricing and Availability
Both models are available immediately. Pricing starts at $349 for the Tiny 3 and $199 for the Tiny 3 Lite, with the Vox SE wireless lav priced at $59. OBSBOT is also running a trade-in program through February 28, 2026, offering discounts of up to $100 depending on the model exchanged.
