MTF services has taken the recently release Sirui 24mm f/2.8 1.33x anamorphic lens and is offering RF and L-Mount conversions of it for customers.

The new options will allow the lens to be used on a wider variety of current cameras such as the LUMIX S1H, S1, and S5, as well as RF mount devices like the RED KOMODO and Canon C70.

The addition of the 24mm lens complements the existing 35mm and 50mm conversions of previous Sirui anamorphics. Though the glass is designed to cover S35 sized sensors, so cameras do need to be used in a cropped mode to prevent vignetting.

The new lens apparently required a bit more effort to convert than the previous models, and so the price reflects this. The new conversion required that part of the lens barrel had to be machined away before the new mounts could be attached. However users can still convert the lens back to a M4/3 mount if they want without issues.

Both the RF and L-Mount versions are available for £950 plus tax, and can be ordered directly from MTF Services or by authorised MTF dealers.
