Laowa has launched the 4.5-10mm f/2.8 CF Zoom Fisheye, a compact parfocal fisheye zoom designed for APS-C and Micro Four Thirds cameras. 

The lens covers a 4.5–10 mm zoom range that delivers two distinct fisheye perspectives. At 4.5 mm, it produces a full circular fisheye with a 180° field of view, useful for astrophotography, "crystal ball" compositions, and 360° panorama capture. Zooming towards 10 mm transitions it to a frame-filling diagonal fisheye. Laowa also notes that shooting at 10 mm and de-fishing in post produces a wider effective field of view than you will get with a standard 10 mm wide-angle prime.

Consistent across the range

The constant f/2.8 aperture holds across the entire zoom range, giving consistent exposure and depth-of-field control regardless of focal length. Minimum focusing distance is 10 cm (3.9 in), which maximizes foreground emphasis and the characteristic "bug-eye" distortion effect.

The parfocal design also maintains focus through zoom changes, making it practical for video work where smooth zooms need to stay sharp. Physically, the lens measures Ø 68.9 x 59.3 mm (2.7 x 2.3 in) and weighs 338 g (11.9 oz), making it compact enough for travel, handheld shooting, and gimbal use.

It is manual focus only, with no filter thread. The lens is available in Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X, L-Mount, and MFT mounts.
