Kelvin Inks Partnership Deal with SmallRig

Kelvin and SmallRig have announced an interesting new partnership at IBC2025, which will focus on developing accessories and integration between Kelvin’s lighting systems and SmallRig’s camera rigs and support equipment.

Yes, we know we sometimes overuse the word 'interesting', but this genuinely is. It's basically hooking up the innovation that Sweden's Kelvin has shown recently in LED lighting to the industrial behemoth that is SmallRig. SmallRig makes a lot of kit, prototyping and launching new products with dizzying speed, so it will be fascinating (see, we avoided it this time) to see what the two cook up together.

It looks like a bit of a win-win. Kelvin gets integration into a global ecosystem with scale and reach, as well as access to a whole load of data on customer insights. SmallRig gains access to Kelvin's cutting-edge lighting technology and co-development capabilities, strengthening its ecosystem and moving it closer to the high-end. For the rest of us, it means a faster pace of innovation,  broader distribution with improved product availability, and stronger local support.
