Hollyland Introduces Lyra 4K UHD Webcam

Hollyland’s new Lyra 4K UHD Webcam combines a large 1/1.5-inch sensor, wireless audio, and AI-assisted controls for pro-quality streaming.

Hollyland's first webcam, the Lyra, is a 4K unit with a 1/1.5-inch (12.8 × 9.6 mm) CMOS sensor and a built-in wireless microphone receiver that the company says is designed to bridge the gap between compact webcams and mirrorless-camera performance.

Larger Sensor, LARK Audio

Previewed at IBC2025, that 1/1.5-inch sensor is paired with an f/1.8 aperture lens and is capable of recording up to 4K30 or 1080p60. That larger-format sensor should improve low-light performance and color accuracy. The webcam also incorporates a built-in Hollyland LARK A1 wireless microphone receiver, enabling direct pairing with a LARK A1 transmitter for cable-free audio capture. For standalone use, the Lyra includes its own omnidirectional microphone system recording at 48 kHz/24-bit. AI-based noise reduction helps remove background sounds and maintain consistent voice clarity.

Other AI Tools

Talking of AI, an onboard AI tuning system adjusts brightness, contrast, and exposure automatically according to ambient conditions. Additional features include automatic subject tracking, framing, and a beauty mode for facial smoothing, all syncing well with the Phase Detection Autofocus. Hollyland’s proprietary green-screen algorithm allows for live background replacement without external software.

Less AI and more analog, but still extremely welcome, it also has a rotating physical built-in shutter for guaranteeing privacy when not in use.
