EIZO extends its FlexScan EV Series warranty to seven years. The new EV3851X and EV3451X are the first ultrawide monitors to ship with it.
EIZO has extended the warranty on its well-regarded FlexScan EV Series monitors to seven years, a term it says is longer than any other monitor manufacturer currently offers.
Six models carry the new warranty. Four are existing releases: the EV2740S, EV2720S, EV2410R, and EV2400R. The other two, the EV3851X and EV3451X, are new products launching alongside the announcement (see below). All future EV Series monitors will ship with the seven-year warranty baked in at launch.
EIZO cites its in-house approach to component selection, circuit design, manufacturing, and quality control as the basis for the extended coverage. The company has offered a five-year warranty on FlexScan EV monitors for more than 20 years.
Coverage runs from the date of purchase and is capped at 30,000 hours of usage. That’s just under 12 hours a day for seven years.
FlexScan EV3851X and EV3451X
The two new monitors covered by the 7-year warranty are both ultrawide curved monitors in the FlexScan EV Series: the 37.5-inch EV3851X and 34.1-inch EV3451X. The EV3851X succeeds the EV3895 as the flagship ultrawide; the EV3451X is a version of the EV3450XC without the built-in webcam and communication features.
The EV3851X delivers UWQHD+ resolution (3840 x 1600); the EV3451X offers UWQHD (3440 x 1440). Both use curved panels to provide a wide horizontal workspace without the bezels of a multi-monitor setup.
Both include a USB Type-C connection carrying video, audio, USB data, network signals, and up to 94 W of power delivery through a single cable. Additional inputs are DisplayPort and HDMI; downstream ports include three USB Type-A and one USB Type-C.

The EV3851X includes Display P3, DCI-P3, and BT.709 preset display modes; the EV3451X supports BT.709. Both include Eco Mode (Auto EcoView and EcoView Optimizer 2), which EIZO rates at up to 60% energy savings compared to maximum brightness with no USB devices connected.
Eye care features include anti-glare coating, flicker-free operation, and Paper Mode. Both are available in white or black.
The monitors carry ENERGY STAR, TCO Certified Generation 10, EPEAT, and EPEAT Climate+ certification. Packaging uses molded pulp from recycled cardboard and newspaper; cables are wrapped in paper.
Pricing and availability
The EV3851X is scheduled to ship from July 2026; the EV3451X in autumn 2026. Pricing has not been announced.
