The JibONE from Edelkrone has been great for cinematographers, even those filming alone, to achieve high-level and smooth camera control. The company has added the Pan PRO for motorized single-axis panning.

The Pan PRO is perfect for the JibONE, or any of Edelkrone’s sliders and dollies, to achieve further smooth camera movements. It will also work with a standard tripod. It can support most cameras, including heavier ones, up to 30 pounds. It’s fast and easy to set-up, move to a new place, and put away.

You can control it manually by setting up the motions by hand. But the Pan PRO works best with the remote control via the edelkrone app for iOS and many Android devices, allowing for precise and smooth movements, down to small pans, that can be repeated. This is especially useful during an interview, multiple takes, or identical shots for visual effects purposes.

It’s easy to set up a sequence of movements, and there are options for live target switching, instant target learning, automatic target tracking, and much more.

The Edelkrone Pan PRO costs $599 USD, and is great for the solo shooter up to a full camera crew to achieve smooth, pro-level movements. Learn more here.
