Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 20.2.3 has just been released and adds support for Blackmagic RAW 5.1, improved performance on Windows Intel GPUs, and more. Fusion also gets updated to 20.2.3 with its own array of bug fixes.
Plenty here. Diving right on it. The DaVinci Resolve 20.2.3 software update adds a new hotkey for the timeline keyframe and curves tray and decode support for WEBM and MKV clips with VP8 video codec. In addition, this update adds up to 4x faster Magic Mask, Depth Map, and Super Scale performance on Windows Intel GPUs, improved decoding of MP4 clips and MKV files, better metadata retention on exported EXRs and support for Blackmagic RAW 5.1.
Full list below.
As is usual, there is also a new Fusion v20.2.3. This also adds support for up to 4x faster Magic Mask and Depth Map performance on Windows Intel GPUs, as well as better deep image proxy scaling and flipbook previews, better save functionality of interlaced file formats and support for Blackmagic RAW 5.1.
Blackmagic RAW 5.1 adds support for Blackmagic RAW clips recorded by Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR from Leica SL3-S, Sony FX3 and Sony FX30 cameras. And, as you would expect, the whole chain here starts with an update to Blackmagic Video Assist 3.22. This adds support for Blackmagic RAW recording from Leica SL3-S, Sony FX3 and Sony FX30 cameras to Video Assist 5” and 7” 12G HDR models.
The free updates are available now from the Blackmagic support page as usual.
