The latest releases of DaVinci Resolve 20.2.2 and Fusion Studio 20.2.2 have both dropped on the Blackmagic servers with the usual mix of new features and improvements.
The DaVinci Resolve 20.2.2 software update adds improved viewer color management when working with Rec. 709 files on Mac, smoother playback in the Fairlight audio page, as well as improved trimming and ripple behaviours on the edit timeline. AI IntelliScript also now works with multicam clips, and you can right click on media metadata to copy file metadata values. And there are dead bugs, lots of dead bugs.
As is usual, there is also a new Fusion v20.2.2 that moves forward in lockstep. This software update improves the editing of spline ease in values, removes duplicate viewer menu entries, provides better loading of some USD texture paths, as well as improving viewing of names layers from Renderer3D.
The free updates are available now from the Blackmagic support page as usual.
