AJA Video Systems is heading to Las Vegas with a host of products and updates that simplify and accelerate SMPTE ST 2110 transitions and look to optimize signal flow across broadcast, production, post, and proAV environments.

AJA Video Systems is heading into NAB 2026 with four announcements covering key areas of its business profile: ST 2110 gateway conversion, mini-converter firmware, sync generation, and desktop software.

BRIDGE LIVE IP — SMPTE ST 2110/IP Video Gateway

aja_bridge_live_ip_with_monitor_ui_imageBRIDGE LIVE IP is a 1RU encoding, decoding, and transcoding gateway designed for bi-directional conversion between compressed IP video formats and SMPTE ST 2110 infrastructures. The unit was built in collaboration with Comprimato and targets broadcast, live production, and streaming environments making the move to 10/25 GigE ST 2110 workflows.

BRIDGE LIVE IP handles up to four channels of UltraHD at 60p or up to eight channels of 1080p60 HD. It brings the core remote production, synchronous multi-channel contribution, and multi-bitrate delivery capabilities of the SDI-based BRIDGE LIVE line to pure IP environments.

Supported formats include H.262, H.264, H.265, MPEG-TS, HLS, RTMP, RTMPS, and SRT. NDI, JPEG XS TR07, and JPEG 2000 TR01 are available through optional licenses.

On the output side, HLS delivery is supported for CDN contribution and playback on iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS. The device can also handle multi-camera streaming to CDNs and encoding for IPTV and OTT distribution. AJA positions it as a cost-efficient alternative to satellite, dedicated lines, and fiber for secure multi-channel video backhaul over the public internet.

BRIDGE LIVE IP is available now through AJA's worldwide reseller network at $17,999. An NDI license (BLVE-NDI perpetual) is $499 per device; optional JPEG 2000 and JPEG XS licenses start at $1,555.

IP25-R v2.0 Firmware Update

IP25_R_Hero_AngleA free v2.0 firmware update for the IP25-R mini-converter answers growing market demand for a robust, cost-efficient baseband/ST 2110 conversion solution, by adding a new Tx (transmit) mode, enabling 12G-SDI to ST 2110 or HDMI conversion. Rx (receive) mode now supports six audio and video streams, up from four. An integrated test signal generator aids ST 2110 network setup and troubleshooting. IP25-R v2.0 will be available as a free download from AJA Support. IP25-R can be purchased today through AJA’s worldwide reseller network for $3995, and new units ship with the latest firmware installed.

OG-GEN10 openGear HD/SD Sync Generator

OG_GEN10_Hero_Angle with backplateOG-GEN10 is designed to provide 'exceptional' sync gen flexibility as the growing openGear market drives demand for more broadcast, proAV, and post tools in the popular form factor. It is an HD/SD/AES-11 sync generator with simultaneous HD tri-level and SD sync output, nine HD/SD reference outputs, and one AES-11 reference output. It fits the openGear ecosystem and adds remote control through Ross DashBoard software, along with redundant power via the openGear chassis. It's available now at $795 MSRP.

Desktop Software v18

Desktop Software v18 brings 10-bit RGBA support to the Corvid 44 and Corvid 88, and adds simultaneous capture and playout of two video channels at up to 1080p60 for KONA X and KONA XM I/O cards. macOS users gain Avid OpenIO SDK integration and Apple Silicon support via the macOS Driver Extension (DEXT). The update is a free download for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and is coming soon from AJA Support.
