Pond5’s new collection is an exclusive new way for RED camera owners to contribute their footage to a premium stock footage library.

Following on from Pond5’s earlier DJI collection, this new initiative focusses on the exceptional quality that RED cameras are capable of, and will allow users to contribute their footage in a way that ensures that they stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Contributors to the RED Collection will be eligible to receive free footage preparation services from the Pond5 team. RED President Jarred Land said, “We’re excited to collaborate with the Pond5 team to help promote artists working with our cameras and provide them with a new way to earn revenue from their work."

Contributors will need to apply to be accepted onto the scheme by applying at the Pond5 website, and footage submissions will be approved according to quality, creativity, and its relevance and demand in the marketplace. Footage will be accepted in formats from 4K up to 8K in resolution, and will apply to both original new footage as well as previously existing shots.

If you would like to contribute to the collection, visit the Pond5 mini site to apply.
