Custom Consoles' height-adjustable workstation

Custom Consoles’ new high-standard MDesk-Technical Workstations ensure a long working lifetime as well as easy repair and accidental damage. The model has a motorised desktop which can be adjusted from 66 cm to 125 cm above floor level. This enables working between seated or standing and matches the desktop height to users' exact preference. The total lifting capacity is 400 kg.

The workstation comes with multiple monitor mounting points along the rear of the work surface. Cables can be routed through the desktop cable trays via two energy chains and connected back to the work surface through cable ports. Mobile devices can be charged by a desktop induction pad. LED lighting illuminates the front of the base legs and PC enclosures.

Avid launches sub-based Maestro for TV and media graphics

Avid's next generation Maestro is a new subscription-based software package for real-time broadcast television graphics.

Available as of now, Avid says this fully backward-compatible solution features the power, flexibility, and scalability to produce and deliver the best quality graphics possible for both on-air and studio video wall content. "With today’s Maestro graphics, teams are able to rapidly illustrate more compelling broadcasts and events for their audiences, while taking advantage of our new subscription model to gain the flexibility to adapt to the evolving requirements in demanding production environments,” says David Colantuoni, Vice President, Product Management for Video and Media Solutions.
