Neutrik's new TRUE1 DATA Connector Series brings a unified ruggedized platform to USB-C, RJ45, and fiber connectivity — one chassis format, three connector types, available June 2026.

Neutrik  has launched the TRUE1 DATA Connector Series, a ruggedized data connector platform covering three media types within a shared mechanical architecture: mediaCON TRUE1, etherCON TRUE1, and opticalCON TRUE1.

The series is designed for OB vans, remote broadcast operations, outdoor productions, rental staging, touring, and similar high-cycle environments.

The unified platform is built around a D-Size chassis format and covers USB-C, RJ45, and fiber connectivity in one consistent mechanical shell.

Three connectors, three uses

The mediaCON TRUE1 supports USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1x1, 5 Gbps) with USB Power Delivery 3.0 up to 100 W. The etherCON TRUE1 uses RJ45 with CAT6A performance and supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The opticalCON TRUE1 provides two-channel fiber optic connectivity in both multimode and singlemode configurations.

The shared architecture is designed to let engineers standardize panel layouts and workflows across different signal types, from high-speed data to fiber, without having to accommodate different connector form factors.

Protection specs are rated at IP65/IP66/IP67 in mated and locked condition, with 1440 hours of salt spray corrosion resistance and UV-resistant materials. RJ45 and USB-C versions feature an airtight design. A locking cable connector enables one-hand operation, and color-coding options, replaceable sealing caps, and the standard D-Size form factor support installation in dense or space-constrained environments.

The TRUE1 DATA Connector Series will be available from June 2026. Pricing has not yet been announced.
