Godox Releases Tiny iT20/iT22 iFlash Camera Flash

Starting at just 45 grams / 1.59 ounces, Godox's new iT20/iT22 iFlash Camera Flash is very much a go anywhere, do anything sort of camera accessory.

Godox’s new iT20/iT22 iFlash Camera Flash weighs a featherlight 45g/1.59oz (the iT22 is 52 g) and is compact enough to disappear into a pocket, but still boasts some decent features. 

A dedicated button lets you switch between manual and TTL modes instantly without the need for any menu-diving. A high-definition display makes settings visible and updates in real time, so you can adjust on the fly. Flash output spans an impressive 6-stop range (1/32 to full), and is precisely controllable in ±1/3-step increments, helping deliver nuanced lighting control from gentle fill to dramatic flash.

The snap-on magnetic accessories are useful. Diffusers soften harsh light with a snap, ahem, while included CTO/CTB filters and creative gels offer atmospheric hues or help balance color in mixed lighting. Honeycomb grids shape and direct your light for punchy, contrasty effects. All accessories pop on and off.

1.5-second full-power recycle times provide on-demand flashes, while a robust battery powers up to 700 flashes per charge, ensuring uninterrupted coverage through extended assignments. Charge time is 70 minutes.

Mounting is smart and adaptable. The optional TR TTL Hot Shoe Riser lifts the flash 30mm above your camera—crucial for giving wide or protruding lenses the clearance they require. Compatibility is broad: Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL, Sony, Fujifilm, OM System and Panasonic TTL systems are all supported. High-Speed Sync (HSS) and auto flash ensure readiness for both fast and tough lighting situations.

A 0–90° tilt adjustment feature means you can quickly bounce or direct the flash as needed, adapting easily to most environments.
