Blackmagic’s free Asian seminars run for six weeks, covering Cloud to HyperDeck

Blackmagic Design is launching a new series of Asia Online Seminars that cover a huge range of the company's different workflows and work with Blackmagic Cloud, Blackmagic Camera, DaVinci Resolve, HyperDeck, Fairlight Live, and SMPTE-2110 IP video .

While Blackmagic Design EMEA continues its 2026 series of free online seminars dedicated to all aspects of DaVinci Resolve 21, its Asian arm is gearing up for a new series of web-based seminars that extend the concept to more of the company's product range.

As announced on Blackmagic's Facebook page, the Asia Online Seminar sessions take run every Wednesday for six weeks from October 14 at 15:00 SGT (07:00 UTC, 08:00 BST, and 03:00 EDT, until the clocks change). Subjects cover everything from cloud workflows to editing, live audio mixing to building 2110 IP video systems.

Introduction to Blackmagic Cloud
Wednesday, October 14, 15:00 SGT
A starter session on Blackmagic Cloud and the apps that come with a free account. It explains what Cloud Storage, Project Server, and Presentations do, how personal and organization profiles differ, and how teams can rent and assign DaVinci Resolve Studio licenses.

Blackmagic Camera App and ProDock

Shows how the Blackmagic Camera app turns a phone into a digital film camera, and how ProDock adds professional connections for genlock, timecode, audio, and lens control. It also covers controlling the app from an Apple Watch.

Blackmagic Camera to Cloud Workflow

Covers logging in and setting up Blackmagic Cloud in both DaVinci Resolve and the Camera app, then following media from camera to edit. Attendees see how to start a Resolve project with live media sync, add footage from anywhere in the world, and review clips in Presentations.
