Time in Pixels will be showing Nobe OmniScope and its Live Pack add-on at this year’s IBC.

Nobe OmniScope is a useful scope application for real-time video monitoring and signal analysis, built specifically for colorists, DITs and filmmakers. It covers exposure, contrast, color, saturation and skin tone analysis, and runs as software rather than dedicated hardware. This lets users easily construct customizable scope layouts for grading suites, on-set work, or wider production setups.

Live Pack was first introduced ahead of NAB this year and, mirroring very much how colorist workflows themselves are evolving, extends the app into on-set, DIT, live production and broadcast workflows.

Basically it adds native Pomfort Livegrade integration, enabling color-graded live monitoring through zero-copy, near-zero-latency GPU signal sharing without extra hardware. For broadcast and live use, SDI Output routes video to external SDI monitors via supported Blackmagic DeckLink and UltraStudio devices. Multi-Input Monitoring enables users to display several feeds at once in configurable layouts.

The add-on also includes Record to File, for capturing live feeds to H.264 or ProRes, and Composite Views, which turns snapshots into live sources for real-time comparison and camera matching. For monitoring, Focus Peaking provides real-time sharpness verification, and Loudness Meter supports EBU R128 and ATSC A/85 compliance checks.

Pricing and availability

The video version of Nobe OmniScope starts at €190, which is a one-time license plus a yearly upgrade and support component which is €58. A Pro version increases these amounts to €325 and €80 respectively. Live Pack is a €128 add-on for existing users or can be bundled up in a Pro and Live Pack bundle for €453.
