LumaFusion Version 5.3 for iOS Adds Free Feature Updates

LumaTouch has released LumaFusion for iOS version 5.3 with a host of new workflow enhancing features, as well as introducing a newly-developed, custom plugin architecture that enables support for third party editing and VFX plugins.

What’s new in LumaFusion for iOS v5.3? Plenty. Listening to user feedback has led to a number of workflow-enhancing features that the company says are designed to make the LumaFusion editing experience that much more enjoyable. 

First though, alongside the announcement of a new plugin architecture, LumaTouch has confirmed that Australian developer CoreMelt is the first to create an exclusive plugin for LumaFusion on iOS: PaintX for LumaFusion. This plugin is available as an in-app purchase for a one-time price of $19.99.

Elsewhere, LumaFusion for iOS v5.3 includes a number of free updates and improvements for existing LumaFusion users, including:

• The ability for editors add any transition to multiple selected timeline clips, simply by double-tapping on the transition in the Library
• Blurs, Styles, and Distortions are now combined into one button in the Color and Effects Editor Presets Library to accommodate the addition of third party plugins
• A new Search feature allows editors to find a preset by name in the Color and Effects Presets Library
• Head and tail transitions, as well as cross dissolves, can be added between multiple selected timeline clips. This is found in the Add Clip Menu on the timeline
• Editors can now adjust track height in Preferences (found under Help and Settings)
• Library clips can be previewed in full fit mode or have their fit mode matched to the Timeline, with settings in Help and Settings / Clip Defaults
• And new for Creator Pass Subscribers: Three new sets of transitions, including Circular Wipes, Mod Lines, and Anchor Slides

LumaFusion (on all platforms) is available for a one-time purchase price of $29. The LumaFusion Creator Pass subscription is also available, and adds such useful tools as Speed Ramping, support for 12 tracks, a massive content librarry, and more, and can be added to LumaFusion from within the app. LumaFusion Creator Pass is priced at $9.99/month or $69.99/year.
