Godox Litemons SR20R puts an RGB light around your phone

Godox's Litemons SR20R is a full-color RGB LED panel with a central opening for a phone or camera. It costs $89, and pre-orders are open now.

Godox has released the Litemons SR20R Portable RGB LED Light, a full-color panel measuring 29 x 22 x 4 cm (11.4 x 8.7 x 1.6 in) with a large opening in the middle for mounting a smartphone or camera. The 623 g (1.4 lb) light can be used in a variety of different ways, with the camera facing you, handheld, or on a stand via Three 1/4"-20 threaded holes. An included smartphone holder allows vertical or horizontal setups.

Color temperature runs from 2800 to 6500 K with 0 to 100% dimming, in RGB, Daylight, and Tungsten modes. CRI and TLCI are both 96. Output at 5600 K is 1510 lux at 0.5 m (1.6 ft) and 393 lux at 1 m (3.3 ft). The light offers CCT with GM range, HSI adjustment, and an FX mode with 14 of the usual effects.

One rather interesting feature of the light is Bluetooth pairing with Android and iOS devices, which lets the light control the phone's native camera, including zoom, capture, focus, front/rear camera switching, and mode toggling. NFC quick connection is also available for Android devices.

A built-in 7.26 V, 4800 mAh (34.84 Wh) lithium battery provides up to 1.5 hours of runtime at 100% brightness and charges in 2.3 hours over USB-C. Three cold shoe mounts on the top edge of the light take accessories such as microphones to allow it to form the basis of a full shooting rig. An additional light, microphone, and light stand are sold separately. Three 1/4"-20 threaded holes, meanwhile, allow stand mounting.
