Godox has expanded its Litemons range with two compact bi-color LED ring lights aimed squarely at smartphone shooters and lightweight video setups.

The new Godox Litemons compact bi-color LED ring lights, the LR15Bi and LR30Bi, are designed as portable fill lights for creators working with phones, small cameras, and compact rigs, prioritizing soft output and fast setup over raw power.

Diffused Bi-Color Output

Both lights use a side-emitting optical design combined with a frosted diffuser to produce an even, low-glare output. Godox says this helps reduce harsh reflections and eye fatigue during longer shooting sessions, making the lights suitable for vlogging, livestreaming, and close-range talking-head work.

Bi-color output allows users to adjust color temperature to better match ambient lighting conditions, helping maintain more consistent skin tones when shooting indoors or on location.

Mounting Options and Modular Use

The LR15Bi uses a magnetic mounting system, allowing it to attach to MagSafe-compatible smartphones, magnetic rings, metal surfaces, or the included phone clip. This makes it quick to reposition for different shooting angles.

The LR30Bi adopts a more traditional ring-light form factor with a 360-degree swivel and 90-degree tilt, offering greater control over positioning. It also includes a built-in mirror, aimed at users who frequently work with front-facing cameras or beauty-style content.

Godox also offers an LR Kit, where the LR15Bi and LR30Bi can magnetically connect to form a complete ring light, with linked operation and synchronized adjustments.

Onboard Controls

Each light offers five brightness levels and five bi-color presets, allowing for quick adjustments without relying on an app or external controller. CRI is ~97, and TLCI ~98, while the fixed color temperatures are 2800K, 3200K, 4500K, 5600K, and 6500K.

Both models are powered by internal batteries, rated for up to 75 minutes of continuous use at full brightness. Charging is via USB-C, with a full recharge taking approximately two hours, keeping downtime relatively short for mobile shooting sessions.

Portability is a priority. The LR15Bi weighs approximately 33 g (1.16 oz), while the larger LR30Bi comes in at around 83 g (2.93 oz). Both are slim enough to fit into a pocket or small accessory pouch, making them easy to carry alongside a phone or compact camera.

Pricing and Availability

Pre-orders are open now and the lights are competitively priced. LR15Bi: $15.90, LR30Bi: $24.90, and the LR Kit: $39.90.
