elevate io launches full integration of Epidemic sound catalog

Blackbird's browser-based editor completes its Epidemic Sound integration, bringing royalty-free music and sound effects directly into the timeline.

elevate.io, the browser-based collaborative video editor from Blackbird, has completed the integration of Epidemic Sound's royalty-free music and sound effects catalog first announced in January directly into its editing platform.

The integration is available immediately to all users and completes an impressive roster for Epidemic which now boasts integrations across Adobe, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, elevate.io, YouTube, and TikTok.

elevate.io runs entirely in the browser and covers both short- and long-form editing, with transitions, effects, color correction, and visual looks included. Real-time multiplayer co-editing sits alongside asynchronous commenting directly on the timeline, and a dedicated review mode lets stakeholders give feedback through a clean player without needing editor access. 

Epidemic Sound's catalog covers music and sound effects across all genres and the company reports that it generates over 3 billion views per day from videos that include its tracks. These can now be searched, previewed, and added to projects without leaving the elevate.io editor. Licensing is handled at export, with tracks available for personal content at 100 tokens per track and commercial use at 500 tokens per track.

The token system works as follows and it's worth paying attention as effectively it gives you access to only one track per month at entry level. All users receive 100 introductory tokens on signup, following which they are distributed across the membership tiers. These are the tiers and the various benefits at each level

Additional tokens can be purchased at $8.00 for 500, $50.00 for 2500, or $190.00 for 10,000. Annual subscription discounts are available across all plans.
