Beta 4 of DaVinci Resolve 21 adds Insta360 native colorspace support, improved Fusion motion paths, and AI CineFocus quality upgrades in the Studio edition. Fusion Studio 21 is also updated
The DaVinci Resolve 21 public beta continues its steady progress toward final release, which, if previous years are anything to go by, usually takes place around IBC in September.
DaVinci Resolve 21 beta 4 includes better handling of Resolve FX and more accurate highlight representation on still images. This update also adds support for Fusion motion paths and modifiers in the keyframe editor, as well as support for Insta360 native colorspace. Elsewhere, the paid DaVinci Resolve Studio 21 beta 4 also improves AI CineFocus visual quality along with enhancements to AI Blemish Removal and Face Refinement tools.
Meanwhile, the Fusion Studio 21 public beta adds improved Macro Editor behavior with nested macros and controls pages, better Paint tool compatibility with layer-based workflows and support for OpenEXR images in DRFX files.
As always, all downloads are available for free from Blackmagic Support.
