Beeble has launched Canvas, a node-based AI compositing environment for VFX, post, and virtual production.

Beebl's new Canvas is a node-based AI compositing environment that combines AI video models, compositing utilities, and visual workflow automation into a single production system built around what the company says are controllable, iterative pipelines.

Wider ecosystem

Beeble has been busy building different products targeted at the VFX space, and so Canvas includes native access to Beeble's AI models: SwitchX for video-to-video transformation and SwitchLight for generating physically based rendering (PBR) passes including normal maps. Integrated AI rotoscoping tools are also included. The system additionally supports external generative and utility models, so artists can combine AI-generated content with traditional compositing techniques within the same interface.

As far as compositing itself goes, artists can build node graphs combining live-action footage, background plates, masks, reference images, and AI-generated elements to create and compare multiple visual variations across entire shot sequences. The node architecture means that repeatable workflows can be automated and batch processed, with scene consistency maintained across projects without rebuilding shot by shot.

Alongside Canvas, Beeble has also introduced the SwitchX API, which allows studios and developers to integrate Beeble's AI relighting and video transformation capabilities directly into custom production pipelines and software environments.

Pricing and availability

Beeble offers three tiers: free Starter (90 credits/month, non-commercial); Creator at $19/month ($16 billed annually, 540 credits); and Professional at $75/month ($60 billed annually, 2400 credits)s).
