ASUS’s ProArt P16 and P14 start at $2599, with first US units due October 16. Top configurations offer 128 GB of unified memory.

ASUS’s ProArt P16 and P14 laptops and ProArt GR1X mini PC, all powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, have gone global after making their public bows at Computex in June.

RTX Spark combines an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU, an NVIDIA Grace CPU, fifth-generation Tensor Cores with FP4 support, and NVLink-C2C interconnect. It offers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128 GB of unified memory.

That gives you enough clues to understand that the new machines are being primarily pitched at agentic AI, but all that power is also extremely useful when it comes to working with video.

Video chops

NVIDIA and ASUS say the systems can handle 12K 4:2:2 video editing, 90 GB-plus 3D scenes, 4K AI video generation, and language models with up to 120 billion parameters. Adobe has said it is reworking Photoshop and Premiere for RTX Spark, with updates due later this year alongside the first hardware. As RTX Spark is Arm-based, apps without native builds will run through emulation, which can cost performance.

The ProArt P16 is 12.9 mm (0.51 in) thick and weighs 1.77 kg (3.9 lb), with a battery of up to 99 Wh and a display of up to 4K with NVIDIA G-SYNC. The ProArt P14 is 13.9 mm (0.55 in) thick and weighs 1.48 kg (3.3 lb), with a battery of up to 90 Wh and a display of up to 3K.

Both have CNC-machined bodies and ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays with Delta E<1 color accuracy, up to 1600 nits peak brightness, 120 Hz variable refresh rate, and anti-reflection technology. Finishes are Nano Black and Neo White, and both have a precision haptic touchpad.

ASUS preloads MuseTree, which integrates the FLUX and WAN image and video models, and StoryCube, which handles scene recognition and media organization, as well as asset management. Adobe Creative Cloud bundles are available, and eligible laptops get a Google AI bundle too.

There are also decent cost gains to be had due to all that NVIDIA horsepower. ASUS says local capacity replaces per-token or per-generation charges, keeping work and data on device, and lets users choose models and build repeatable workflows. Local, cloud, or hybrid execution is available. For example, Hermes Agent and ComfyUI bring workflows and agent-connected creative tools to users’ own PCs, enabling generative AI creation and AI-assisted development, with the flexibility to integrate cloud services when needed.

The ProArt GR1X measures 150 x 150 x 51 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 2 in). It has dual-fan cooling, dual M.2 SSD storage, 10GbE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for up to four 4K displays. It comes in silver and black.
