Wooden Camera Elite Handheld Accessories System

Wooden Camera has introduced their new Elite Handheld Accessories, a
modular handgrip system designed for comfort and quick transitions from
tripod to handheld.
The $1,099 rod-mounted handgrip Wooden Camera Elite Handheld Accessories System is designed to quickly transition from a tripod setup to handheld without needing to
remove the accessories for either setup. They come in three different kits: A 19mm Crossbar, 15mm Studio Crossbar, and 15mm LWS Crossbar. The accessories are made from 7075 aluminum, making them tough, durable, yet lightweight and built for the long run. That's also effective when mounting larger and heftier cameras to the system.

"[The use of 7075 aluminum] is on purpose, for the sheer fact of the high yield strength
of the material" explained Dominick Aiello, Divisional Senior Director of Accessories at
Creative Solutions. "it's very, very hard to bend and distort this to the point of non-
recovery"

The system is meant for quick setups and adjustments, particularly with its adjustable
grip position and DLC plate knobs which can be tightened by hand or toolset. No one
wants to wait a long time in between setups as the camera gets prepped for handheld.
Wooden Camera also designed the system and handgrips to be as light, durable,
ergonomic, and comfortable as possible, particularly when using it for extended periods
of time. There is a soft-side hook-and-loop as part of the system, which an optional
ARCA Shoulder Plate can be added that can attach to a shoulder pad for more comfort.
There are extensions that can be utilized with the crossbars, available in 4, 6, and 8 inch
options. These extensions are universally compatible with ARRI standard rosettes. They
come with standard 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points for accessories.

Additionally, the handgrip system includes ODI handgrips that are easily swappable, an
adjustable grip position, DLC plate knobs that can be tightened either by hand or with a
dual 3/16" or 4mm hex, and color rings to help crew differentiate cameras (red, green,
blue, and yellow). Some of these additional accessories are sold separately.

Price and availability:
The three separate Wooden Camera Elite Handheld Accessories are available now and
priced at $1,099 USD for all three sizes, which include the 19mm Studio Handgrip Kit,
15mm Studio Handgrip Kit, and 15mm LWS Handgrip Kit.

Meanwhile, the ARCA Shoulder Plate retails for $215, extensions start at $149 for the 4-
inch extension, Crossbars can be purchased at $499 each no matter the size, a 135mm
Rosette Handgrip is $199, and a pack of Color Rings retails for $12.
