Eddie AI introduces Scripted mode, simplifying video editing yet again by automatically processing and cutting videos according to uploaded scripts.
Short post, decent news. Eddie AI has just added the ability to process scripted content into its mix of impressive time-saving editing tools.
The workflow is disarmingly simple. Just upload your script and videos into Eddie AI and the software then analyses all the material before cutting your video according to that script. It automatically selects the best takes, after which the finished cut can be exported into Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro via a pleasingly easy one-click process.
It's not locked down either; you can also manually dive in and select alternative takes directly on the timeline if you feel you disagree with Eddie's choices in what looks to be a fairly simple to use process.
The goal is, as ever with Eddie, to make editing faster and take some of the dispiriting grunt work out of the process. And less time scrubbing through footage definitely sounds like a winner to us.
Eddie AI has a free tester tier, while unbranded output pricing starts at $25 per month. More information here.
