BeScene: The new app that aims to expand and enhance your filmmaking rolodex

1 minute read

BeScene has been designed to help film creatives connect and grow their professional network. It works a bit like a dating app; users first create a profile and then match and network with like-minded peers from the industry.

The app works with a simple, easy-to-use interface that allows creatives to access and communicate with their contacts. It also helps users to find fellow creatives and expand their network effectively with various different filters. User profiles include roles, headshots, experience details, and project types, enabling creators to showcase their professional resumés comprehensively. Using filtered search ensures more precise and time-efficient results, with the idea being to make it easier for users to discover their next project seamlessly.

"In an age where social, dating, and professional networking platforms connect people through technology, the film community needed a resource," says George Armistead,  CEO and founder of ReelCall, BeScene's developer.

With the filtered search, you can easily find contacts for your next project and even refer other contacts

The last time we checked, BeScene's waitlist had over 7200 filmmakers anxiously waiting for the launch. Now, as of today, BeScene is available for download on the App Store. You can also download BeScene to your mobile device by navigating to www.bescene.app.

LinkedIn, this ain't (and that's good, right?).
