Every so often, you see a CGI film that takes your breath away. The new Lion King is a visual stunner

There isn't much to say here except that Jon Favreau's remake if the Lion King is a lush, motion-captured and beautifully animated celebration of the state of the art in computer-generated images. 

Here's just a few glimpses of what promises to be a gorgious cinematic experience in the trailer for the new film.
