Colourlab Ai development continues apace with workflow improvements ARRI ALEXA 35 and Resolve 18 support.

The new point release of Colourlab Ai 2.1 will include 70 new show look templates from six new categories along with two new film stock collections. This takes the total number of film stocks available in the software to 45. The new release features a new black and white film profile and a Kodak Labs originated print profile.

To keep up with new camera releases, Colourlab Ai now supports the ARRI ALEXA 35, which was announced last week. DaVinci Resolve 18 is now supported along with workflow improvements and support for Blackmagic Cloud for remote workflows.

Adobe Premiere will apparently gain a game-changing new colour managed workflow, which can perform one-click SDR/HDR conversions and ACES support. Conform free DaVinci roundtripping is also now featured.

Colour Intelligence's CEO, Dado Valentic, demonstrated the new features in an online livestream, which you can view below. To celebrate the release, the company is giving away five Pro annual licenses, which you can register for here. Additionally Colour Intelligence is running an online seminar on Thursday, June 16th 2022 on how to effectively work within an ACES workflow with the software. You can register for this here.
