It's one thing to have an idea for a product, and it's quite another to have it designed, prototyped and manufactured. If the idea is brilliant but if the execution is flawed, then the product, and the company behind it is going to have a hard time

In a blog post for Digital Bolex, Elle Schnieder, one of the creators of the Digital Bolex D16, has pointed us to a "behind the scenes" video made at Ienso, the design and manufacturing partner for Digital boles.

Filmed by Journalist Kurt Lancaster, it's revealing and informative.

What it shows is the thought and detail that's gone into this camera - and an honest but realistically optimistic appraisal of the risks involved.
