Accsoon launches CineView M7 Pro TX/RX and CineView M7

Accsoon has launched two new color-accurate professional 7-inch monitors, the CineView M7 Pro and the CineView M7.

Shipping this month, the new Accsoon M7 series professional 7-inch monitors look to offer a decent bang for the buck and feature calibrated color accuracy, advanced LUT capabilities, intelligent OS features, and, in one case, seamless wireless integration.

The CineView M7 Pro features integrated long-range wireless video receiver capabilities, seamlessly connecting to any Accsoon CineView transmitter. Accsoon says it leverages the company’s patented Dual-Band Transmission technology for ultra-low latency wireless monitoring with a range of up to 1200ft/350m. With a firmware update to be released shortly after launch, the idea is that the CineView M7 Pro will also be able to act as a transmitter to a Cineview receiver, another M7 Pro, or smartphones and tablets running Accsoon’s free SEE app

The CineView M7 shares the same core tech as the M7 Pro, minus the integrated TX/RX system.

Both feature premium 7-inch, fully laminated touchscreens, with a 1920x1080 resolution and 1000 nits of peak brightness. Each unit is factory calibrated to achieve ‘near-perfect’ Rec.709 D65 (Delta E < 2), and the screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and encased in robust all-aluminum housings. This should deliver on both durability and superior heat dissipation for continual use.

They record 4K H.264 or H.265 video files to SD card, USB drives, or SSDs. Both can accept a 4K 60P or 1080P HDMI signal and up, down or cross convert it. They can also accept 1080P signals over SDI and cross convert them to HDMI, or vice versa. Both HDMI and SDI can be output simultaneously, and there are options for different frame rates as well.

They ship with a full suite of professional monitoring tools, including False Color, Histogram, Zebras, Waveform, and Vectorscope—all customizable and upgradable. A comprehensive LUT workflow offers full support for screen calibration LUTs, gamma correction, color temperature, and independent RGB channel adjustments, guaranteeing precise color management across workflows. Users can also import and apply 3D and high-accuracy 1D LUTs (up to 4096 points) via SD card, USB, or SSD. Both monitors also serve as real-time LUT boxes, applying transforms to HDMI, SDI, or Wi-Fi outputs, or burning LUTs directly into recorded footage.

Accsoon says it is also working to develop touchscreen camera control for a range of cameras directly from the CineView M7 and M7 Pro, starting with selected Sony mirrorless units. Users will be able to start and stop camera recording, adjust shutter speed, ISO, aperture and white balance. Additional camera brands will be added over time.

Both monitors are powered by high-performance processors and a custom Android-based OS. Power is via dual NP-F battery slots, USB PD, or DC input.

An optional sunhood and cage will be available. The cage is a premium grade custom fit design for additional protection, plus increased mounting options with several 1/4 20 holes around its sides.
