Venus Optics Introduces Four Laowa Lenses in L-Mount

Venus Optics has been announcing and releasing many new, fast, and specialized lenses over the past year. They are releasing 4 of its existing Laowa lenses in L-Mount in March 2021, including some very wide to fisheye and macro glass.

Here's the breakdown of these new L-Mount lenses:

• Laowa 25mm F/2.8 2.5-5x Ultra Macro: If you're shooting macro, this is an L-Mount lens to own. It's fast, and perfect for 2.5x to 5x life-size photography, plus extended working distance at 45mm (2.5x) and 40mm (5x). • Laowa 24mm F/14 2x Macro Probe Lens: This one is unusual looking, to say the least, and according to Venus Optics, it started as a Kickstarter project and is the first consumer-grade probe lens. It features 2:1 macro to infinity focusing and a wide angle view. It costs $1499 to $1699, and is highly specialized.
