With a background in indy feature making, he has been writing camera reviews and tech articles for as long as he can remember. Whenever he has any spare time he can be found "hucking the gnar" whitewater kayaking and adventure sports filming.
Chris has been working in the broadcast industry for over 30 years, a lot of it as an editor, camera operator, sound recordist and troubleshooter. He has an unrequited love of technology and a loathing of tomatoes.
Heath has been an independent film and video director, producer, and editor for over 25 years and has written about film and video technology since 2003. He has produced or directed several feature and short films and taught film directing and editing in both classroom and lecture settings. His short film, 'Nobody's Tomorrow' was written by comic book legend David Michelinie. In his free time, Heath enjoys running and triathlons and finished a full IRONMAN in 2019.
